The Ford F-150 Lightning is a powerhouse! The all-new, all-electric, F-150 Lightning delivers a targeted 563 horsepower and 775 lb – ft of torque, more than any F-150 ever! The Lightning will have an amazing array of smart and connected features, plus the ability to power your home in case of a power failure. It even has a Frunk, also known as a front trunk.

Ford F-150 Lightning, Still Built Ford Tough

The all electric F-Series truck is able to roll through rough terrain with Built Ford Tough durability. The normal high-strength military grade aluminum alloy body and brand new independent rear suspension allow for ride comfort. The newest F-Series is using the strongest steel ever used in an F-150 frame, supporting a maximum 2,000 pound payload and up to 10,000 pound towing capacity.

Rigorous testing happened through Iowa Hill, California towing massive trailers for long periods up and down steep inclines. The F-150 Lightning is equipped with a state-of-the-art liquid cooling system and powertrain layout that manages heat distribution across the vehicle. Thus ensuring the truck thrives through the toughest driving conditions.

Smart and Connected with Advanced Tech

Ford F-150 Lightning offers an amazing array of smart and connected features that will get better with over-the-air software updates. The FordPass app provides remote vehicle controls and seamless access to charging stations. The available BlueCruise offers actual hands-free driving on more than 160,000 km of prequalified divided highways in North America.

Ford is the only automaker offering an 80-amp charge station as included equipment; therefore, making it easy for anyone to charge for extended-range driving from home. Using the station the truck adds an average range of 48 km per charging hour, fully charging from 15-100% of an extended range truck battery in around eight hours.

Turn your truck into a power source for your home. Debuting the available Ford Intelligent Backup Power. Keep the lights on during a power outage with the ability to offload 9.6kW of power, providing peace of mind by powering home appliances, security systems and more.

Using the Ford Charge Station Pro and the home management system the F-150 Lightning turns on to power your house automatically. The F-150 Lightning with extended-range battery provides full-home power at 30kWh per day for three days and if power is rationed, as long as 10 days!
