Wow! We just wanted to say thanks to all those who helped make our annual Give & Go event in December 2022 a huge success.

Our community is able to help so many Nanaimo families in need have a great Christmas by gathering over 5,000 dollars in monetary donations and 1,742 lbs of non-perishable food, making for a total value of $30,420 donated to Loaves and Fishes! PLUS we are waiting on tallies from the Salvation Army!

This event made such a huge difference in our community and we are so grateful that we are able to help out so many Nanaimo families.

Thanks to all those who came out on the wet and snowy wintery night to donate or volunteer. Thanks to The Tidesmen, the a cappella chorus group that provided entertainment for the evening, St. Jean’s Cannery and Smokehouse who provided a huge donation of canned goods, Mid Island Towing and United Rentals who both provided essential support, Skye Ryan with Chek News, the Nanaimo Bulletin and the Wolf and Wave radio stations for giving us outstanding coverage. Thanks also to all the volunteers who helped out that evening, with the support of snacks, unloading and loading of donations and making the evening a whole lot of fun.
