Donation of $13,750 $14,000 Was Raised During Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln Ltd.‘s Partnership with the BC SPCA Nanaimo Branch

(NANAIMO, BC) February 13, 2013– STEVE MARSHALL FORD LINCOLN LTD.’s partnership with the BC SPCA Nanaimo & District Branch to raise donations toward the prevention of cruelty to animals has been deemed triumphant.

Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln is inviting the media, BC SPCA supporters, animal lovers, and their staff to attend the cheque presentation on Thursday, February 14th, 2013 at 9am Friday, February 22, 2013 at 11 am. Leon Davis of the BC SPCA Nanaimo, Ann Marie Ebdrup and Ryan Saunders of Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln will be available for video, photos, questions and comments.

Together, using word of mouth, social media and coverage from Island news stations and our local news papers, the dealership and shelter surpassed the original goal of $10,000 on January 24, 2013. It was an emotional moment, felt by the staff at both locations.

“Many people in our dealership and our community, including myself, have been touched by the BC SPCA,” said sales leader Ryan Saunders, Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln. “Thanks to the good work of the SPCA my dog Kobe is still with us today.”

Leon Davis, BC SPCA Nanaimo & District Branch said, “Unbelievable. When I told the staff [we had passed $10,000] there were a few tears.”

“I hadn’t realized just what an impact we could make. The final total for January 2013 donations is $13,750 $14,000.
