All joking aside, it was a fun and delightful evening, we had over 80 lovely ladies here learning about everything from our experts. Highlights of the evening included Earls wonderful food, Aurora relaxing massages and Van Houtte provided the delicious coffee.

All donations collected for the evening went to the Zonta Club of Nanaimo. Here’s the note Del sent us this morning via email:

Hello Annmarie and Shawn:

On behalf of the Zonta Club of Nanaimo a sincere thank you for a great fun and informational evening for ladies night. As always Shawn was fantastic keeping us laughing with his tricks. Also the presenters had great information and suggestions for us along with tasty refreshments.

Above all we sincerely appreciate your choosing Zonta to receive the donations for our community service work.. As stated these funds will go directly to the Nanaimo “Kids- 4- Kids” project at Georgia Avenue school in support of deserving Grade 6 and 7 under privileged children.

A good time was had by all topped off with shiny clean cars to take home.
