Hidden Heroes in Every Company

A letter we received from Elverna about our Bow Tie Guy Sherdan White!

April 1, 2010:

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize one of your employees for outstanding customer service on March 15th, 2010.

As a Government certified trainer in Customer Service for over 15 years I had the pleasure of witnessing outstanding Customer Service from Sherdan White while having my car serviced at Steve Marshal Ford.

When I arrived at the Dealership on a rainy afternoon to pick up my vehicle I was met by Sherdan White. While he opened the door for me he greeted me with a sincere hello and made me feel like a valued customer. He escorted me to the service counter and told me that the Advisor would be with me in a moment. But here’s the difference…he stayed beside me, offered me coffee, asked how my day was and was sincere with every word.

Sherdan White walked me out to the car and chatting along the way. When I opened the car, the front console still had a black mark on it, Sherdan White commented that he will see what he can do to help. He showed sincere appreciation for my dilemma.

I believe there is always a hidden heroes in very company, big or small. Sherdan was in his element assisting customers with a sincere and caring demeanor that comes naturally to some and apparently not so for others. I would like to congratulate him for outstanding customer service and an employee who demonstrated pride in his work and for the company he represents.

Sincerely, Elverna Edwards-Mailloux
